Being an artist isn't just about making work anymore its about having something to say about yourself, your work, and the world. In this workshop led by Natasha Marin, writer, conceptual artist, and creator of the Reparations website, you'll discuss the components of a strong social media presence, the best platforms for your work and your message, and strategies for creating a compelling voice and then what to do when the trolls come trolling.
Instructor: Natasha Marin
Natasha Marin is a conceptual artist and digital engagement specialist. For over 10 years she has used social media, web and graphic design, strategic communications, and IRL immersive events to create moments of Genuine Encounter between people. Her creative work has been reviewed internationally and published in translation. The City of Seattle, The City of Austin, Artist Trust, The CD Forum, and many other public and private organizations and individuals have provided valuable financial support for her projects.
