Sandy Cressman's Homenagem BrasileiraCD Pre-Release Show

With two acclaimed albums of Brazilian songs and international performances, Homage to Brazil embraces the diversity of Brazils musical traditions, rather than simply focusing on Brazilian standards that have already crossed over into the jazz world. In February 2017, Cressman will release her newest project "Entre Amigos", which includes collaborations with various Brazilian and Brazilophile musicians, recorded in the U.S., Brazil, and Europe. According to Brazilian guitarist/composer Chico Pinheiro, Beautifully conceived, arranged and performed, Entre Amigos is a delicate and sensitive declaration of love for Brazil, for Jazz, but above all an ode to friendship and to all the bridges that only music can build." Oct. 29th's show will feature music from the CD and advance copies will be available.
