The concert features Maurice Duruflés exquisite Requiem for chorus and organ, accompanied by talented guest artist Norma Aamodt-Nelson. Works by Gabriel Fauré (Cantique de Jean Racine), Francis Poulenc (Belle et ressemblante from Sept Chansons), Charles-Marie Widor (Quam dilecta tabernacula tua) and Camille Saint-Saens (Calme des Nuits), as well as a rousing arrangement of a folk song from the Channel Islands, Verduron, fill out the program.
