Farm-to-Table Dinner Honoring Brett Alcaro
Please join us for a special farm-to-table dinner honoring our dear friend and farmer Brett Alcaro. Heartbreakingly, Brett passed away at the age of 37 in December of 2015 after his 6-month battle with bile duct and liver cancer. Bretts work and passion for the land will not be forgotten and we will honor him and help others with the development of the Brett Alcaro Scholarship Fund.
In collaboration with the following restaurants, chefs and farms The Friends of Hilltop Hanover Farm will create a farm-to-table, small plates dinner to include local craft beer and wine: Pound Ridge Organics L'inizio The Ardent Homesteader Inc. Ladle of Love Birdsall House Spice Chronicles Bella Cucina Maria Sprout Creek Farm Baked by Susan Red Barn Bakery Suzanne's Table Peter Pratt's Inn Harvest Moon Farm and Orchard (more to follow).
Tickets: $75 - proceeds from the evening will support the newly created Brett Alcaro Scholarship Fund for young and emerging farmers trained at Hilltop Hanover Farm (75%) and for a college fund for Bretts children (25%).
