Prado Rey at Cúrate

Join us for a wine event at Cúrate featuring Prado Rey wines on Thursday, October 6, 2016. Prado Rey is an environmentally-friendly winery located on a historic estate in the heart of Ribera del Duero, Spain. "Wines from the Ribera del Duero D.O. are characterized by reflecting the maximum potential of our vines, coming from land full of tradition where the whole essence of the grape is extracted." Prado Rey winemakers have earned over 100 awards, including recognition from Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, and Guia Peñin.

The tasting dinner will be held in our private dining room at communal tables. The menu will feature classic Cúrate tapas and one special Ribera del Duero-inspired dish, served family-style.

Local import company Victus World Imports is proud to bring Prado Rey wines to Asheville. Victus is a collaboration of friends and business partners that began with the purpose of importing Argentinean, Spanish and French wines to the United States. Eric Scheffer, Victus managing director and founding partner and Cody Stokes, national sales manager, will be in attendance to introduce and discuss each wine, sharing their extensive knowledge of the wine industry.

Wine experts from Metro Wines will also be attending the event with purchasing information for Prado Rey wines. Metro Wines owners share the philosophy that wine is about friends, family and community and carry a wide selection for Asheville residents to enjoy.
