Synopsis:
The Vagina Monologues
An Obie Award-winning whirlwind tour of a forbidden zone, The Vagina Monologues introduces a wildly divergent gathering of female voices, including a six-year-old girl, a septuagenarian New Yorker, a vagina workshop participant, a woman who witnesses the birth of her granddaughter, a Bosnian survivor of rape, and a feminist happy to have found a man who liked to look at it.

Provincetown Cares is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds for women's health and breast cancer through live entertainment. Launched in 2008, it stages an original live benefit performance and silent auction each October in Provincetown, MA during Women's Week and National Breast Cancer Awareness Month to support research, education, screening and treatment for breast cancer and other critical health issues affecting women.
Now in its 9th year, the Provincetown Cares live performance and VIP
event have become an integral part of Women's Week in Provincetown, MA. Award-winning TV and stage actors generously donate their time and talent to perform in two shows under the direction of Lynn d'Angona and participate in special events and
auctions in support of Provincetown Cares.
Proceeds from the annual live performance and silent
auction benefit local, regional and national organizations committed to
cancer research, education and treatment services for women in our
communities, including Helping Our Women (H.O.W.),Outer Cape Health, Fenway
Community Health, and Dr. Susan Love's Army of Women Foundation.
To date, Provincetown Cares has distributed $150,000.00 dollars to local and national
