2012 Selections
July 16th - LOVESICK APOCALYPSE - Writtten by Kevin Nielsen - Directed by Buffie Main It's the not-so-distant future, and a deadly pandemic has come to pass. The human race has been wiped out--that is, except for Cameron, Peter and Michelle. Determined to survive (and to find a working shower), these three have found each other and are sticking together. But even in the dog-eat-dog world of the apocalypse, it's still every man for himself in this "boys meet girl, boys want girl, which boy gets girl" comedy at the end of the world.
July 23rd - POISON - Written by Jason Haskins - Directed by Luke Massengill It's a quarter to three, there's no one in the place - unless you count a misfit group of regulars who won't or can't go home again. Hank's place has been on the skids for awhile now, Hank is ready to retire and the bank wants the bar for the real estate. Enter Jimmy, an ambitious young upstart, and Tom, a sodden regular who can't quite give up on the future. Can Hank's place, and the weary souls within, be saved?
July 30th - END OF THE LINE- Written by Evan Sesek - Directed by Mike Baltzell Two estranged brothers reunite to divide their dead father's estate. Both cope in their own way - college dropout Miles tries to pick up women in bars while Sal buries himself in a virtual world of war and heroism. As Miles and Sal enlist the help of their father's live-in nurse Tori to help decipher who their father really was, old wounds open and tensions escalate. Will Sal and Miles emerge from their fantasies long enough to come to terms with the past, themselves and each other? Or will the mess their father left behind continue to keep them apart?
