Join us in the Barnyard as we host Judy Schad of Capriole Dairy for her first barnyard session. Judy is unequivocally one of the best goat cheese makers in the world. She also was at the forefront the American artisan cheese movement. Most important, she is just a joy to listen to. For this event she we will first share her origin story. Then we will enjoy a guided tasting through 6 of her cheeses: O'Banon, Wabash Cannonball, Piper's Pyramide, Sofia, Mont St Francis and Old Kentucky Tomme. For drink pairings we are bringing in a dry sparkler, a crisp white, a sweet, late harvest cider and maybe even some bourbon. (depends on turn out, wink) Judy does not come to NY often so this is a rare chance to hang out with her in an intimate setting. Please know we are splurging on the beverages but keeping ticket prices at only $15. Limited seating so moo baa maa. MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD TO ENTER.
