Men of Tortuga
Living Room Theatre presents the New York Premiere of MEN OF TORTUGA by Jason Wells Part of the EAT New Work Series at TADA!
Gripping... a blistering new play... the best piece of writing all year from a playwright. -- Chris Jones, Chicago Tribune
Directed by Randolyn Zinn
Powerful men behaving badly
"Men of Tortuga" takes audiences into a high security conference room where four powerful men consider how to eliminate a rival. As their powwows spin out of control and their plan escalates into absurdity, Wells technique of dropping information a little bit at a time makes for riveting theatre where big and bad ideas rise, converge and collapse into comic chaos.

Emerging Artists returns with their one-of-a-kind festival. Visit the theater any evening during this three-week event, and you'll find yourself transported in a number of surprising ways: by a single performer embodying a whole host of characters; by a more experimental theater piece "done differently" that challenges and delights; by a cozy two-person show exploring relationships; or perhaps by a bouncy new musical that will have you humming. Emerging Artists has always been about new works, new talents, new voices. That's never been more evident than now.
NO REFUNDS will be granted.
