MUSIC & BEATBOX COMPOSITION
Create a song in session through learning to beatbox and jam and make your own music.
Participants will learn the basics of how to beatbox, playing with foundation sounds, rhythms and a loop station. In small groups you will be given a stimulus and write lyrics using what you have learnt to create a song to be shared at the end of the workshop.
Led by Conrad Murray (performer and writer of DenMarked).
A bit about Conrad
Conrad Murray is one half of hip hop theatre company Beats&Elements, and the director of the BAC Beatbox Academy. Recent works include No Milk for the Foxes at Camden Peoples Theatre, as well as directing the Beatbox Academy at the Royal Festival Hall, Southbank centre and Latitude.
Recommended age: 11+ including Adults!
