Car Talk: Creating the Political Will to End Homelessness XVI
Using two breakout sessions, we will look at these areas of realities and efforts around vehicle residency: 1) Outreach & Lived Experience; 2) Community Engagement; 3)Congregations and Safe Parking Venues; State/Local Law/Courts/public safety. The goal is to exit the day with a working effort at partnerships within King County to reduce the number of persons living in vehicles, which annually amount to one-third of every annual Point-in-Time count of the homeless.
