Steve Key 59th Birthday Celebration

Steve Key will head into his 60th year with a special Birthday Concert at the Shell Cafe in Pismo Beach. Tom Walters (of The Taproots and Inner Faces) will accompany Steve on mandolin and guitar. Show begins at 6:30pm.

The $10 cover includes a CD. After 28 years, Steve is re-releasing his debut album, "Between Trains", to be available for the first time in digital format. Recorded in New York City in 1988, the 10-song collection captures Steve Key as a 31-year-old up-and-comer on the folk circuit. Seven originals are mixed with covers of Greg Brown, Christine Lavin, and David Ray. This is a limited release, only 30 copies will be available at the birthday concert. Attendees may have a copy of Steve's current CD, "The Investment", once the copies of "Between Trains" are gone.
