A Thurber Carnival
The Playhouse at St. Pauls in Northport, NY, presents a revival of the hit Broadway comedy A Thurber Carnival by the great American humorist James Thurber. This delightful show will be performed four times only, October 14, 15 (matinee and evening), and 16, 2016.
The Daily News hailed A Thurber Carnival as a small, cozy, and completely captivating revue...a sheer delight... joyous, magnificently lunatic festival. Come spend a couple of hours with 11 of Long Islands most dynamic actors and they bring 48 characters to life in 13 touching and sassy tales, including The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, The Night the Bed Fell, The Macbeth Murder Mystery, File and Forget, The Last Flower, and original twists on some familiar fables. Its the battle of the sexes played with music on the stage at the Playhouse at St. Pauls. All proceeds support the churchs various local and global ministries. Directed by Alex Edwards-Bourdrez and produced by Northport Plays, Inc.
