The Artist's Voice
This edition of The Artists Voice invites renowned, contemporary artist Richard Hunt and Dr. Courtney J. Martin, Assistant Professor of History of Art and Architecture at Brown University, for a public dialogue highlighting Hunts pioneering contributions to the field of abstract art. Presented on the occasion of Richard Hunt: Framed and Extended, the conversation will explore the evolution of Hunts practice and distinct approach to sculpture as three dimensional drawing. The program will also explore moments of overlap in the careers of Richard Hunt and Alma Thomas and recount milestone moments in the canon of art history. A Q&A segment will follow the conversation. At the close of the program, Richard Hunt will lead a walkthrough of Richard Hunt: Framed and Extended.

This program is free with Museum admission, which is a suggested donation of $7 for adults and $3 for students and seniors. All seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
