Well known on the South Shore and Boston coffeehouse scene, singer-songwriter Bill Motte's songs reflect a life well lived, with his personal experiences and far-ranging travels deeply felt in many of his tunes. Bills CD releases Thinking of You (2013) and Memphis Rain (2012), recorded at the Record Company in Boston, reveal the depth of his insightful songs.
Hailed by one of his fans during a performance as the best singer-songwriter on the South Shore, Bill has shown himself to be a literate and astute observer of human interactions. The wry commentary in his precisely chosen lyrics and engaging performance leaves listeners really feeling the emotions evoked in the stories he weaves in his songs.
Skillfully accompanying himself on guitar, when Bills song is sung, you feel as if you've known everyone who is part of his tale. With Bills passion for songwriting in a league of its own, there are few artists who can tell life's stories so vividly.

Upbeat and energetic Club favorites Ali and Bongos will open for Bill. Ali & Bongos are a female duo from the South Shore. The first time we heard them at our Open Mic, and wanted to book them right away! The duo consists of Ali Howshall on guitar and vocals and her good friend Emily Smith on bongos and percussion. They have been performing together for over 10 years at various venues, including the Jetty in Marshfield, Venus III in Hanson, Re-Tunes in Hanover, and SSFMC. When joined by their bass player and lead guitarist, they are known as Ali and the Biddies. Duo or quartet, they are always a Club favorite.
