The Monster Movie Double Feature offers Burlesque with TEETH

On Saturday, October 30th, at the historic Bier Baron Tavern near Dupont, Glit-O-Rama productions will be presenting a burlesque and variety show bringing the world of Hollywood horror to life entitled The Monster Movie Double Feature. The first Monster Movie Double Feature was first produced in Richmond, Virginia in 2014, and toured to Washington DC and New Orleans. The original productions goal was to present classic horror films with the artistic styles of the Neo-burlesque movement. Glit-O-Rama is proud to pick up that mantle with a brand new cast of performers and pulling from some of Hollywoods most classic horror films. From Stephen King to Wes Craven, the Monster Movie Double Feature is guaranteed to be the perfect kick off to this years Halloween weekend.
Buster Britches, marketing coordinator for Glit-O-Rama noted, This Halloween we are hoping to start a new annual tradition, for the winter holidays you have avoiding the relatives, for Halloween lets take in a Burlesque Show, This year features some of DCs most beloved and well traveled performers, Bella La Blanc, Allen Ryde, Xander Lovecraft and Cherie Sweetbottom have recently returned from the Burlesque is Coming tour the only Game of Thrones burlesque show approved by George R. R. Martin. Also coming to the stage will be DC celebrated drag and performance artist Lucrezia Blozia. This years production also features Corinne Southern, billed as The Shakespeare of Burlesque from Rhode Island. You may have to pay for the whole seat, but the only part you will need, is the edge.
