Exodus To Jazz: The Bucky Pizzarelli Trio featuring Nicki Parrott & Chuck Redd
For one admission charge, enjoy two one-hour sets of the internationally renowned John "Bucky" Pizzarelli who has had a stellar career for over six decades. Dedicated to swing and American popular song, Bucky is one of the most sought-after guitarists in the business, enchanting audiences worldwide with his superior mastery of the seven-string guitar. Nicki Parrott, a student of bassist Rufus Reid, was Les Paul's bassist/vocalist for over ten years; she has performed with many notable artists including Clark terry, Michel Legrand, Houston Person and Randy Brecker. Encouraged by Les Paul, Parrott has emerged as a fine singer and award-winning composer. Chuck Redd, an accomplished performer on both drums and vibraphone, was a member of the Great Guitars (Barney Kessel, Charlie Byrd and Herb Ellis); he has performed with Dizzy Gillespie, Mel Torme, Tommy Flanagan, Ray Brown and Monty Alexander.
