Jennie Chabon & Lisa Zeiler at Cozy Concerts
Jennie Chabon, cantor for Congregation Bnai Tikvah in Walnut Creek, and Lisa Zeiler, co-founder of the beloved feminist folk trio Rebecca Riotshave, have been making music together for more than a decade, collaborating on three albums. They promise to open your heart and lift your spirits. Jennies stunning vocals and Lisas masterful guitar work create a transcendent sound that gets your body moving.

This intimate evening of live music will showcase how Zeiler and Chabon blend their styles and genres: from traditional cantorial to ladino to contemporary Jewish music, interspersed with a generous helping of folk and blues.  Whatever your musical taste, this show is sure to satisfy!

Jennie grew up in Berkeley, sang in the San Francisco Girls Chorus, studied anthropology at Columbia University, and earned a Masters of Sacred Music and Investiture at the Jewish Theological Seminary. Lisa recorded four albums with Rebecca Riots, played sold-out shows around the country. Shira Kammen will also be performing on violin, and Kevin Webber will be on percussion.

Get your tickets quickly because this show is bound to sell out!
