2016 Detroit Fringe Forward Fest Friday Night show
Detroit Fringe Forward Festival is proud to announce its 2016 lineup, which includes 10 new plays and performances staged over four days. The festival will highlight the work of over 45 Michigan artists and 9 Michigan writers. Continuing the momentum from 2015, the festival will continue to explore new works and celebrate connections made through the performing arts.
The line-up encompasses a variety of genres from narrative theater to literary-inspired musical performances to avante-garde performance art pieces. Participants will receive a small production stipend to support their work. At the end of the festival a Jury's Choice and Audience Choice award will be given to two performances, who will each receive a fully staged production spot in CMAPs 2016-17 season .
