Matt Combs & Nate Strasser at Johnny's Speakeasy
Join us for an exciting multi-genre evening of violin and piano duets ranging from Bach to the music of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  Matt Combs, Grammy nominated fiddler, and former member of the Grand Ole Opry staff band has teamed up with pianist and composer Nate Strasser, whose cinematic compositions will be featured at this years Cannes Film Festival.  Together, they will present a concert of songs, film scores, fiddle tunes, Bach, and a sneak peek of  Appalachian Rhapsody a new composition for fiddle, piano and full orchestra written in collaboration between Matt and Nate.  Though presented without Orchestra, this violin piano reduction is a musical, almost cinematic journey of the history and breadth of fiddle music in America.
We welcome you to join us for what will be a dynamic and entertaining night of music.
