The Defective Comet: Live at the Old Barn! [;WAS: Gas Giants];
Join Kelston Records on 29 Sept 2016 for an evening up Kelston Roundhill near Bath. It starts with a walk up to the iconic Kelston Clump. Down at the Old Barn chef Michael Holloway will serve BBQ lamb, chicken and halloumi skewers and salads, with local beer & cider available (cash bar).
The Defective Comet (Ross Hughes and Tony Orrell) will perform two sets from 20:00, finishing 22:00. The performance will be live recorded by a team from Bath Spa University.
The Defective Comet is Ross "voice of Jazz Duck" Hughes (bass clarinet, saxophones, guitar, bass & keyboards) and Tony "Beardman of Alkijazz" Orrell (drums & electronics).
Tickets £10 in advance; online booking fee applies. £14 on the night (cash only).
-- Note this programme was to have featured Gas Giants but we're sorry to say Will Gregory is unwell and unable to play. Once he's recovered we'll try to rebook Gas Giants for spring 2017.
