Spectral Theatre's "Late Night Double Feature" July 2012 Edition
All throughout the summer Spectral Theatre's "Late-Night Double Feature" will present two strange/weird/unusual/thought-provoking scripts lovingly crafted by the freaky, filth mongers in and around Spectral Theatre and performed live on the stage by some of Vancouver's most gruesomely gifted up-and-coming performers. For our 2nd set we're continuing the freakiness with a chilling and comical coupling of creepiness...
"The Pruning Act" written by Simon C. Hussey. Directed by Chloe Packer. Featuring Caroe Sandoval, David Quast and Kurtis Maguire.
"The Pruning Act was an environmental policy with a very broad scope. Unanimously ratified by all members of the Global Senate in 2025, and passed into law by all regional governments by the year 2037. Developed early in this century by an elite cabal of scientists and intelligentsia of the day, it was nurtured to fruition over the years by agents working within various regional governments." The final phase of the Pruning Act is why you and billions of others like you around the world should attend this play.
