Join local author Lynn Bohart for her second book-signing as she launches her latest "Old Maids of Mercer Island" mystery novel entitled 'A History of Murder.' 'A History of Murder' is Lynn's sixth book, and her third in the popular series set in the Pacific Northwest. The book stars innkeeper Julia Applegate, her talking parrot, her sixty-something friends, a few friendly ghosts, and a handsome detective or two. Lynn teaches writing at Green River College and she has also been a nonprofit executive for 30 years.
The evening will include food and drink, a mystery trivia game, and a talk by the author on how she researches critical information for her books.
Tickets available at the door, but online purchasers are entered to win a mystery raffle prize.
Proceeds benefit the Renton History Museum.
