Medicinal Mindfulness Presents Psychedelic Shine September 11, 2016 2:00-5:00pm - Doors Open: 1:30pm
Join the community of Medicinal Mindfulness as we begin the Fall series of Psychedelic Shine: Psychedelic Speaker Series & Community Gathering. Featuring Live Music, Live Art and two evocative presentations on Psychedelics. Our community intermission provides a great opportunity to have drinks and meet new friends with similar interests.

FREE PARKING: Give yourself plenty of time to park to arrive on time. Downtown Boulder is busy on Sundays. Municipal lot between 13th St. and 14th St. on Spruce St. is open and accessible. Doors open at 1:30. Come early and order a drink or appetizer at the gathering space bar.

There is No Shame in That: Psychedelics and Trauma Healing
Daniel McQueen, MA Psychedelic Facilitator & Educator Medicinal Mindfulness LLC Lead psychedelic facilitator of Medicinal Mindfulness, Daniel will be speaking about trends of trauma in our society and in the psychedelic community. He will also speak on the potential of psychedelics, cannabis and breathwork in facilitating deep healing and creative problem solving to address the significant costs of trauma in our society.
Graduate Student Presentation - 20 minutes with Q&A
Moments of Pure Clarity Lessons from Cannabis Molly Sunflower Psychedelic Shine Director of Medicinal Mindfulness
Massage therapist and graduate student at Naropa University in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling Psychology, Molly will be speaking from a personal story of lost health with struggles from depression to diabetes. Through natural remedies, including cannabis, transformational experiences and a return to health was made possible. Now, as a facilitator and sitter for Medicinal Mindfulness events, the potential of cannabis use in healing practices has expanded her repertoire of therapeutic modalities.

Steven Newman featuring Joe Donnellan and Justin Fogel of Nibumbu
Steven Newman is the Music Director of Medicinal Mindfulness. Avant-musician spanning a wide range of musical genres, primarily playing the acoustic guitar and singing, Stevens music is about connecting with the Soul and feeling passionate.
Nibumbu provides music facilitation for our Community Breathwork experiences. They provide rhythm and tones conducive to deep transformational healing and awakening.

Heilig Art
Nicholas Heilig is a native Vermont artist who relocated to Denver, Colorado in 2014. He combines his passion for visual art and music by painting on stage at concerts and festivals throughout the country. He combines calligraphy ink with micron pens to create visually striking illustrations on poster sized canvases. His style draws from the urban elements of graffiti, skateboarding and hip hop, in combination with natural graphic patterns, such as fractals & dendritic formations.
