Travis: The True Story of Travis Walton, recounts one of the most well-documented UFO cases of all time. The event took place in the Sitgreaves National Forest near Heber, Arizona on November 5, 1975 when a logging crew of seven men encounters a craft of unknown origin. One of the crew members gets too close to the object, as the craft reacts with a light beam that shocks the entire crew, and knocks one of them unconscious. The event changed their lives forever. The film documents how these men struggle to make sense of the event enduring humiliation, job losses and lifelong ridicule.

Numerous production companies have supported the production, providing special effects, artwork, animation, and re-enactments to bring this story to life as it has never been done before. Travis Walton wrote his book called Fire in the Sky and in 1993 Paramount Pictures released Fire in the Sky.

The Travis Walton story was commemorated at the Skyfire Summit, the 40th anniversary of this UFO incident.
