Historic Tour of Sunset View Cemetery, Eagle, Colorado
Tour of Eagle's Sunset View Cemetery Saturday, October, 8th Brought to you by The Eagle County Historical Society
Tour Eagle's Sunset View Cemetery and learn about some of the colorful characters buried there. Actors will portray these early residents.
There are two time options for tours. Afternoon tours begin at 2:20 p.m. and run every 20 minutes with the last tour starting at 4:40 p.m. Evening tours beignet 6:40 p.m. with the last tour starting at 8:20.
You will need to wear sturdy walking shoes, especially at night, as the ground is uneven. If you choose a night tour please bring a flashlight.
$15 per person in advance for afternoon tours; $18 in advance for night tours; $3 extra fee for walk-ups on the day of the tour. (Ticket sales benefit the ECHS)
The Cemetery is located on Sixth Street and Hilltop, one block east of the Library.
Allow about an hour and a half for the tour. The size of tour groups is limited. Advance reservations are advised. When space is available, some drop-ins will be accepted on the day of the tour.
