Aquaponics by The Farm Urban at The Flyover Takeover
Build Your Own - Aquaponics Workshop.
The Farm Urban team will introduce you to the wonders of Aquaponics; a food production system which combines aquaculture (growing fish) and hydroponics (growing plants without soil) to produce fish and vegetables in a fantastically efficient and sustainable way. The team will then work with you to build your own Produce Pod; Farm Urbans open source home aquaponics system.
Farm Urban is a research lead community focused social enterprise founded by scientists from the University of Liverpool. The Farm Urban team research and develop the most innovative and sustainable ways to grow food in urban environments. They use their findings to deliver robust and efficient systems for urban food production, and hope to engage and Inspire people along the way. A large part of the Farm Urban mission is to empower people with the knowledge, skills and resources to have a positive impact on society.
