Midland Music Presents Vassily Primakov

Vassily Primakov was recently called a pianist's pianist. He is a giant of the keyboard. (Deseret News, Salt Lake City). Since the release of his recording of the Chopin Piano Concertos, Vassily Primakov has been hailed as a pianist of world class importance. Gramophone wrote "Primakov's empathy with Chopin's spirit could hardly be more complete." Tonight's program consists of mostly etudes: Chopin, Blumenfeld, Scriabin, Rachmaninoff and Schumann's "Symphonic Etudes."All pieces of extraordinary difficulty and beauty.
