Musician, author and soundscape expert Bernie Krause discusses the connection between wild, natural soundscapes and human music, a concept explored in his acclaimed new book "The Great Animal Orchestra: Finding the Origins of Music in the World's Wild Places". His work documents what is lost in nature when ecosystems change, a counterpoint to Laura Cunningham's visual documentation of these changes.
