Our heartfelt and hilarious season begins with Bad Panda, a play by Megan Gogerty of the Iowa Writers Workshop that's been performed from Beijing to Baltimore and is receiving its Northwest Premiere in Seattle! The enclosure erupts into pandemonium when Bad Panda Gwo-Gwo falls for Chester, a crocodile. There's just one problem, hes supposed to be mating with Marion. Join us for this zoological exploration of non-traditional families playing March 23rd through April 8th in association with Theatre Off Jackson.
Six plays, three directors, an exciting ensemble of actors, and a whole new meaning of family in our 5th Annual New Works Festival running June 14th through 16th at the Eclectic Theater. From the families you're born into to the ones you choose, from the ones you love to the ones you hate, these new works will have something for everyone.
Finishing our season will be Tony and Drama Desk award nominee Next Fall by Geoffrey Nauffts. Brought together by love despite their differences in religion, Adam and Luke test the limits of their real-world romance when a fatal accident forces Adam to lean on Luke's relatives. Experience this tender tale of hope and family playing September 29th through October 14th at the Ballard Underground.
