Spirit Mask
"SPIRIT MASK"
Features traditional NW Native carved wooden puppets and masks, dances, songs, and archival video.
The story's main character, Melas, weaves together true stories and songs from when he was a young man on the North West Coast with an old legend of a young man's adventures in the world of the supernatural. The Frog, Raven and Mouse test the human to see if he is worthy of receiving the mask, dance and song he so longs for.
