Village Playhouse 32nd Annual Original One Act Festival for Wisconsin Playwrights
The Village Playhouse's Original One Act Festival has been an ongoing project for over 30 years. The festival is intended to give Wisconsin playwrights a means to see their work move from the paper to the stage. Working together, a playwright, a director, a cast, and a crew develop and polish scripts for presentation to an audience over the course of three weekends. To our knowledge this project is unique in the state and certainly has no competitors for longevity.
This year, due to the overwhelming number of high quality scripts, the festival will present two different groups in rotating repertory.
Group A will be presented June 2, 10, 16, 18
Group B will be presented June 3, 9, 11, 17
