Breathing Corpses by Laura Wade
The Coal Mine presents the Toronto premiere of Breathing Corpses by English playwright Laura Wade.
Directed by David Ferry
Weaving three different plot lines with twists and turns, comes Wade's eerie and dark drama, Breathing Corpses. Set in urban England, the story follows the lives of three seemingly unrelated people. One, Amy, who works as a cleaner in a hotel, Jim a married 40 something who runs a self-storage company and Ben who is in a relationship with Kate, and on one Summer's evening their love life is thrown into disrepair. The common strand linking these 3 together? The discovery of a body which ties a bond too strong to be broken.
