Kirby Stailey
Kirby Stailey will be performing at the Mitchell Opera House on October 16, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. for a fundraiser beneffiting Heaven Nevaeh Healing Center. Kirby was born and raised in Southern Indiana and began singing in church at the age of 5. From that point on, music held a special place in his life. During his youth, he played bass guitar, acoustic guitar, and sang lead vocals in a variety of different bands from heavy metal, blues, rock and roll, and country. He now performs Country-Gospel, Contemporary Christian, and Modern Country. Kirby now resides in Orange County, Indiana and is currently writing his second Gospel album.
Heaven Nevaeh Healing Center is a discipline ministry for men struggling with addiction. Established in 2010, it has helped numerous men find freedom from addiction through solid application of biblical principles. Lawrence County native David Norris, a former addict himself, personally guides and directs each man, offering a structured mentoring environment. The center itself is housed in the refurbished "old" Valley Mission Church in northern Lawrence County. Currently, HNHC has the in-house ministry, and a phase 2 "reintroduction" ministry. Through your generous support, HNHC hopes to continue its ministry to men, and also to expand its reach by offering a street-level ministry. HNHC also desires to add staff to increase its ability to minister in this current addictions epidemic climate.
