Belly Talk

This monthly group is designed to bring Israeli expectant mothers and couples together for a mindful and informative conversation around pregnancy and birth. The meetings are hosted by an experienced doula who will answer your questions, listen to your concerns, help you gain confidence and empower you. We will also practice some coping techniques for childbirth: breathing, guided imagery, relaxation and more. These group meetings are a great place to make friends for the journey of pregnancy and motherhood.

Neri Life-Choma, one of Israel's pioneering doulas, has been practicing as a childbirth educator and a birth doula since 1998. In Israel Neri initiated a hospital-based doula support program, and founded a birth resource center called Mama Center.

In 2002 Neri relocated to Silicon Valley with her family, and continued guiding hundreds of couples in childbirth education classes and supporting couples in childbirth.

In addition, Neri directed a birth resource center in Palo Alto. She has continued her education and is a hypnotherapist and life coach. Neri integrates the coaching strategies in her work with expectant couples and in the doula training programs that she leads.
