Chefs Collaborative presents a Strait of Gibraltar dinner at Januik
Join Seattle Chefs Collaborative for a Sunday evening in the peak of summer at one of the Northwest's gem properties: Novelty Hill Januik Winery. We'll gather at 5 for snacks and cocktails, bocce and croquet, and time in the winery's gorgeous garden. Then at 7, a surf and turf menu inspired by the Western Mediterranean and showcasing the best of the Pacific Northwest, with local lamb and salmon and produce from Oxbow Farm. Winery chef, Megan Hartz, and her team at Januik, with help from past Chefs Collaborative Quillisascut Farm School scholarship winners, will prepare the meal. Wine pairings will be generously provided from the award-winning Januik cellar. We hope you can join us for what will surely be a wonderful, memorable event.
Menu:
Moroccan-spiced lamb with fig and walla walla sweet onion chutney
Grilled salmon with roasted Oxbow veggie paella
African three-bean salad (Oxbow's wax, dragon and green beans), fried chickpeas and peanuts
Roasted and spiced sweet potatoes and bravas-style fingerlings
Grilled heirloom tomato, corn, house-made guanciale and panzanella
Quinoa with peaches, red onions and mustard greens
Dessert by graduates of the Quillisascut Farm School
