Yep, bluegrass chops and acoustic instruments combine with the speed and attack of metal. Damn! Along with The stripped down power duo Muddy Ruckus this proves to be one of the most forward looking nights of the year at The Lizard Lounge.

Lead by one of Bluegrass great young genre-bending pioneers, Stash Wyslouch (Molskys Mountain Drifters, The Deadly Gentlemen), The Stash! Band features elements of Ralph Stanley's high lonesome sound with the riffs and energy of Black Sabbath and Megadeth. Wait, what? Yep, bluegrass chops and acoustic instruments combine with the speed and attack of metal. Damn!

Forged in the fire of the Boston and New York City music scenes- The Stash! Band features Wyslouch on guitar, Sean Trischka on Drums, Duncan Wickel on Fiddle and Noam Wiesenberg on Bass.

Muddy Ruckus is a nationally touring americana-rock duo from Portland, Maine. The stripped down power duo features guitarist Ryan Flaherty and percussionist Erika Stahl. Muddy Ruckus blends haunting male/female vocals, rootsy guitar and edgy percussion on a suitcase drum kit. The band seasons their music with the salt of the eastern old ports and the mud of the Mississippi River where Flaherty grew up, creating an epic blend of bluesy folk rock, foot stomping rhythms and haunting vocal melodies. The New York Music Daily calls Muddy Ruckus "Darkly Inventive Americana". In April 2016, Muddy Ruckus was dubbed "Best in State of Maine" by the New England Music Awards.
