Honoring the Ancestor Charm Class
When the veil between the worlds in the thinnest, our Ancestors are even closer! It is traditional in many cultures at this time of year to honor the Ancestors. Join us for a class to remember and honor the Ancestors and create charms to start or expand your personal relationships with the Ancestors. There are many kinds of Ancestors: the Ancestors of your family line, your Spiritual Ancestors, your Cultural Ancestors, Ancestors from other realms (ever wondered about those Faerie Ancestors!?), and the Ancestors of the Animal, Mineral, and Plant Worlds! There are so many to choose from! Don't want to work with the Ancestors of your bloodline? No problem! You are surrounded and supported by all kinds of Ancestors! In this workshop you will learn about all the different types of Ancestors and some ways to open or continue a relationship with them. We will do a meditation to meet those Ancestors and create charms to hold the intention of deepening a relationship with them. You will leave with a completed charm and some ways to work with it! L. Lou LaMotte is a Graduate of The Blue Iris Mystery School and a Queer Witch and Priestess in Portland, Oregon. She sees patterns in all things, from the feelings we feel to the connectedness of all that is, and loves to find them, untangle them, and purposefully reconnect them. She loves helping others do that too. She weaves magic, ritual, and healing into her life and art practice in the creation of installations, charms, fiber works, and all manners of handmade things. She offers custom charm work out of her Northeast Portland studio, and is available to help with Priestessing those icky stuck spots in your house or your life!
