Private Full Moon Hike for Group
Gather a group of friends, family, co-workers, and others to enjoy a unique experience considered by many to be one of D.C.s best outings. Not recommended for children under 16. No pets, please. Maximum 25 per group.
Payment is made by one person for the entire group of 25 people.
Check-in: One person will be responsible for being at the gate 30 minutes before the hike start time to ensure that only people in the group are admitted. Or that person can provide Arboretum staff with a list of attendees. The Arboretum will provide a security guard and a volunteer to facilitate check-in.
Cancellation policy: Hikes will be held in many types of weather including light rain or snow. If the hike is canceled by the Arboretum on the scheduled date, the rain date will be the following night. If the hike is canceled the second night, the rain date will be the next night. If the hike is canceled all three nights, a refund will be given.

The Full Moon Hike is a moderately strenuous hike to appreciate the beauty of the Arboretum at night. It is not a guided tour of the Arboretum collections. The group will hike approximately four miles at a brisk pace over hilly and uneven terrain for two hours with minimal stops.
