SLO in the Spirit of Laura Nyro
Songwriters At Play presents a concert featuring the songs of Laura Nyro, legendary singer-songwriter recently inducted into the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame. Her songs will be performed by a variety of local and touring musicians. The lineup includes Adam Smith (from Phoenix AZ), Nicole Stromsoe, Jeanne Newhall, Shelby Figueroa, Jade Hendrix, Karen Tyler, Holly Ann Lewis, Dorian Michael, and Steve Key. The show will include a wide sampling of Laura's discography, including the big hits (Eli's Comin', recorded by Three Dog Night), Stoney End (a hit for Barbra Streisand), Stoned Soul Picnic, Save the Country (Fifth Dimension), And When I Die (Blood Sweat & Tears).
