Celebrating their sixth decade, the Legendary Orioles are among the most influential rhythm and blues singing groups of the twentieth century. Continuing a longstanding American tradition of four-part harmony singing, the Orioles pioneered the doo-wop style that fuses pop music with older gospel harmonies and arrangements.
Their 1953 hit "Crying in the Chapel" was a multi-million seller, and they have been thrilling audiences ever since. Inducted into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Rhythm and Blues Hall of Fame and invited to perform at a presidential inauguration, the Legendary Orioles are true to their name.
