TWTP Presents the 11th Annual Women's Work Festival
Beginning May 5, for the eleventh year in a row, Tennessee Womens Theater Project presents its annual Womens Work festival of performing and visual arts created by women. Running at North Nashville's Looby Theater through Sunday May 21, the festival cuts a broad swath across styles and genres to offer eleven completely different programs: poetry and storytelling ; staged readings of new plays; film, dance, music and a display of visual art works. Individual tickets are $10, and a Festival Pass good for admission to all shows is just $60, and a Mini-Pass priced at $30 offers admission to any four shows. 60% of ticket revenue goes toward compensating the presenting artists. Women's Work is presented with the support of grants from Metro Nashville Arts Commission, Tennessee Arts Commission and The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
