Internationally bestselling author and beloved astronaut Chris Hadfield is proud to present his debut childrens book "The Darkest Dark". Hadfield is one of the worlds most accomplished astronauts, and is the author of "An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth" and "You Are Here: Around the World in 92 Minutes". "The Darkest Dark" tells the story of a young boy who must overcome his fear of the dark to become the astronaut he dreams of being. An evening with Chris Hadfield will inspire young readers and readers young at heart to dream the impossible. Chris will talk about his experience of becoming an astronaut and exploring space, give a lively reading, answer questions from the audience and personalize books for attendees.

Hadfield most recently served as Commander of the International Space Station, where, while conducting a record-setting number of scientific experiments and overseeing an emergency spacewalk, he gained worldwide acclaim for his breathtaking photographs and educational videos about life in space.
