Event
ASME STS - Thursday, September 15, 2016 - "The Fast Track to Power: Small Scale Modular LNG"
SPEAKER - Alicia Trent Product Leader of Gas Processing GE Oil & Gas - Houston, TX
BRIEF SYNOPSIS:
Small scale LNG allows customers to fast track gas supplies to gas-fired power generation, transportation and industrial uses. This enables producers to ramp-up production to the scale they need, while reducing their risk on larger, more complex investments. There is a continued headwind from commodity price pressure and increasing competition for markets among major producing nations; therefore, new solutions are warranted. With the growing certainty in the demand for gas, now is the time to invest and grow, but in a more measured way, with smaller investments that are at less risk.
