Coffee, Cheese & Fish - a Food Lover's Speaker Series
Are you curious about the intricacies of sourcing and buying coffee beans all over the world? Want to understand what it takes to make exceptional cheese? Are you challenged by the frequent and often contradictory information about which seafood is plentiful and which is dwindling and why?
We are lucky to count - among the many of farmers, ranchers, winemakers, fishermen, coffee roasters, cheesemakers, etc. that bring food to our kitchen - many brilliant, extremely knowledgeable, captivating individuals who have a treasure of experience in their field and a keen desire to share their knowledge, struggles and triumphs.
Every time we take a day to visit one of them we leave wanting more, but especially wanting this wealth of information to become more available and be shared with others.
After testing the waters and getting enthusiastic responses, we decided to start a Speaker Series at Piccino featuring a line-up of three very different and uniquely fascinating professionals:
MON, AUG 22: Tamara Hicks & David Jablons, Toluma Farms & Tomales Farmstead Creamery THU, SEP 29: Jerad & Justin Morrison, SIGHTGLASS Coffee TUE, OCT 25: Kenny Belov, TwoXSea & Fish Restaurant
Each discussion will begin at 6pm sharp, so please arrive a few minutes early. The evening will consist of approximately a 45 minute presentation, 30 minutes of Q&A, and then time to mingle. Plan on tasting, discussing, enjoying!
Tickets are limited due to space constraints. Ticket price does not include drinks or a meal, only a few samples offered by the speakers.
