See the screen turned crimson in Chang Cheh's blood soaked FIVE ELEMENT NINJAS {aka CHINESE SUPER NINJAS} at the New Beverly Cinema on Tuesday, July 10th, as part of a special "Eastern Grind" night we've put together with our friend Dan Halstead from Portland. This will be a beautiful 35mm print of the original Chinese release version with English subtitles, and will be screening after an equally beautiful Chinese-language print of Lau Kar-leung's masterpiece THE EIGHT DIAGRAM POLE FIGHTER.
