Twin City Derby Girls: Boneyard Bombshells vs. The 'Paign
Your favorite Champaign-Urbana roller derby home teams are BACK! The 2016 intra-league rivalry continues on September 24th at McKinley Aquatic Center (500 W. Church St., Champaign)
Wear RED to support the Boneyard Bombshells or BLUE to support The 'Paign!
+ A portion of the proceeds will benefit Avicenna, TCDG's community partner for the 2016 Season.
+Bake sale items community vendors available
+Visit the merchandise booth to get some swag and show support for your favorite home team!
+Dragon Fire Pizza will also be parked out front making their famous hand-tossed 90-second pizzas. Hendrick House catering will have other snacks inside, as well as alcohol sales (ID required for alcohol sales, 21+)
Doors open at 6pm, first whistle is at 7pm! Seating is limited, so bring the whole family and show up early to get the best seats.
Tickets are available for pre sale and at the door, pricing as follows:
Adults: $10 in advance or at the door (We usually sell out so get yours quick!)
Kids ages 4-8: $5
Kids 4 and under are FREE!
Season Tickets for all 7 games of the 2016 home team series will be available for purchase at this time for only $50 (that's like getting two games for free)! Limited quantities available, so please stop by our merchandise table to get yours before they're gone! Season Tickets are also available online at tcdgvip.brownpapertickets.com
A portion of proceeds raised will go to our community partner for 2016, Avicenna Community Health Center. They will also be on site so stop by their booth to learn more about their mission to change lives in our community.
Avicenna Community Health Center (ACHC) is an award winning, not-for-profit, interfaith health clinic. Avicenna provides high quality, culturally competent preventative and curative healthcare for free to the uninsured and underinsured adult residents of Champaign County, Illinois. Since 2010, this almost entirely volunteer run clinic has provided over 2500 patient visits. We are very excited about our community partnership with Twin City Derby Girls and hope to work together to promote access to health care and community health in Champaign-Urbana.
