Austin Jenckes co-presented w/ Chinook Fest
A singer-songwriter who has capture the hearts of The Voice viewers everywhere (and coach Blake Shelton), Austin Jenckes seem about as unassuming as they come. From the rural town of Duvall, Washington comes the voice of an honest soul. A 25 year old believer in the universal language of music that spills his heart into every word. With lyrical roots in country and folk, and an unmistakably unique vocal style, Austin Jenckes is by definition a singer/songwriter.
He has spent the better half of a decade paving his own way; starting with small local followings in sleepy coastal towns around the pacific northwest. In January of 2012, he moved from Washington State to Nashville, Tennessee where he recorded an independently released EP titled An American Story.
"Austin is the guy everyone wants to sit down and have a beer with" - Blake Shelton
"You always know Austin is going put 110% into every single performance" - Christina Aguilera
"I'm a fan of Austin. He knows who he is as an artist" - Ceelo
"Impressively, Jenckes sounded better within the crowded confines of The Croc on a wet Wednesday night than he did many weeks on The Voice. - Owen R. Smith The Seattle Times
"Heartfelt lyrics and syrupy, satisfying hooks" - Seattle Times
We knew he had made it on The Voice, so we knew he would be good, said Matt Williams, co-founder and host of Nashville Underground Radio. We just didnt prepare ourselves for how good. He blew us away."
Update: Top 10 finalist on Season 5 of "The Voice." Currently touring extensively. Recording, writing and publishing songs in Nashville, TN
