Sac City Rollers present Volley Beer Ball
Have you ever played volleyball? How about Beirut (the non-paddle version of Beer Pong)? Have you ever wanted to try BOTH at the SAME TIME for CHARITY?
Here's your chance: the Sac City Rollers are hosting a Volley Beer Ball competition Friday, August 26th, at Rocky's 7440 Club!! Proceeds will support the SCR Folsom Prison Bruisers with costs to participate in the 5th Annual Deep Blue Derby Tournament.
Volley Beer Ball follows standard Beirut rules but is played outdoors using volleyballs and garbage cans instead of ping-pong balls and Solo cups. Teams will take turns shooting until one team has made a shot into each of the opposing team's garbage cans. A cup-sized beer equivalent will be provided for each game.
Teams of 3-5 players can be of-your-own-making or assigned. Teams may register for $30 per team and individuals may register to be assigned a team for $10 per person. Only a limited number of spots are available, so advance purchase is recommended. If additional space is available, team sign-ups will start at 8 PM. The tournament begins at 9 PM.
As always, please drink responsibly while enjoying this event and never drink and drive.
Rocky's 7440 Club is located at 7440 Auburn Boulevard, Citrus Heights, CA 95610 - spectators are welcome!
