Heather Dale Band in Columbus
Couldn't make it to Pennsic? Not going to GenCon this year? We have a treat for you!
Heather Dale is sneaking out of Pennsic for a surprise show in Columbus on Tuesday August 9th.
She will be joined by her partner Ben Deschamps (guitar, cittern, fiddle, laptop, and other surprises) and special guest Apryl Knight (hurdy-gurdy, bowed psaltery, flutes, hedgehogs) for an evening of spontaneous musical experimentation. This is not to be missed - new arrangements, new retellings of old stories, and a chance to hear this world-renowned Celtic folk artist in an intimate venue.
Heather is a songwriter and pianist known for celtic-influenced songs based on Arthurian legend, SCA life, folk tales and legends from various parts of the world, and more.
Visit http://heatherdale.com/ to hear samples from Heather's 17 albums.
Suggested donation: $15 Doors open at 7pm. Concert at 8 p.m. Please email rsvp@heatherdale.com to reserve your spot.
Folding chairs are always welcome, just to make sure there are enough.
